12 & Under League Rules

All players and coaches must be registered with North Country Region. Players that registered during the 2005-2006 season are still registered. Any new players must complete the North Country Region forms listed below. Players must send their forms to their team directors. Team directors must send them to NCR as a group with appropriate payment.

Matches will be 3 games - the first two games will be rally score to 25 points and the third game will be rally score to 15 points. (All three games will be played regardless of scores.) Point caps at 27 and 17 respectively. There will be a 10 minute warm-up before the first match. No warm-up before the second.

Home teams are responsible for providing at least one official for all matches. The officials may be any experienced JO official, 9th grade or above. Scores will be kept using a flip board or other device. JO score sheets are not required. Home teams are responsible for reporting scores to the web site. Parents may be drafted to call lines.

There are unlimited substitutions. However, players may only sub into one spot in the rotation. Substitutions must be intiated prior to the referree calling the serve.

Libero are now allowed.

The net will be set at 7 feet. A 23' serving line will be honored.

All matches will be played with Volleylite Balls. The home team is responsible for providing a ball in good condition.

If a player serves three consecutive points, the serving team will rotate before serving the next serve.
