General Rules

The league will generally follow all North Country Region (NCR) rules. Be sure to check league specific rules for any clarifications implemented by the league to promote player development.

Referees must be NCR certified and reasonably experienced. Their primary function is to control the game and act as scorekeepers. It is not necessary to keep scoresheets.

Coaches from the home teams are responsible for reporting scores to the web site. Coaches from visiting teams should verify posted scores.

Coaches are responsible for controlling the parents. These matches are intended to be developmental in nature, not competition for college scholarships. In addition, coaches are expected to be role models for positive and respective behavior. Issues with a coaches behavior should be forwarded to the league.

Any rules questions should be discussed between coaches. All questions should be addressed to the league for clarification. Clarifications will be added to the league rules and published on the web site.
